Eau Claire, WI (February 10, 2014) Fanny Hill is pleased to present, the Chippewa Valley’s very own contemporary folk group, Danville. “If you like the music of Simon and Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers and Peter, Paul & Mary, then Danville is for you!” said Don Hodgins, Director of the Fanny Hill Dinner Theatre, “Tight harmonies, a fantastic song list, a variety of instruments, and down-home charm make this group a real crowd-pleaser.”
Danville is a family affair. Tim Danielson is a farm boy from Cadott and Kathy grew up in St Paul. During college, having discovered their mutual appreciation for music, they began performing as a duo. As they grew musically, they also grew romantically and were married shortly after graduation. As their family grew, their daughter and son, Casey and Joe, joined in and are a regular part of the group. Whether playing at concert halls, coffeehouses, churches, or music festivals, they move audiences from tears to laughter with songs and stories about love, family, children, memories, and relationships.
Danville will be at Fanny Hill for two performances: An evening show on Saturday, March 8 with an 8pm curtain, and a matinee on Sunday March 9 with a 1:30pm curtain. Tickets are $15.00. Dining is available before both performances. Call Fanny Hill for reservations and dining options.
